Our Company Profile
Widegrowth Marine Products Sdn. Bhd. is in the business of processing and packaging quality seafood for both local and international markets – 30% and 70% proportionally.

Our founder has over 50 years of experience in the seafood industry. He leads a young and dynamic team of executives in the company.
Most of our buyers got to know the company by word-of-mouth from our local fisheries authorities. We are proud to have this long-term business relationship with these supportive buyers from different countries.
Our seafood-processing factory is located in Sandakan, a coastal city and “seafood capital”, located in the east of Sabah (formerly known as North Borneo), Malaysia. We process seafood, mainly prawns currently – both wild caught and cultured.
Most of our raw materials (seafood) are sourced from local fishermen. We also own a fleet of trawlers to help ensure the constant supply of fresh seafood.

Our Operation
In our operations, we shall acquire and maintain local and international Food Program Certifications in adherence to safety, sustainability, and environmental standards.
Public Participation
We shall engage industry luminaries and other stakeholders for their input.
Support Government Initiatives
We shall participate in relevant government initiatives to help develop and sustain food production industry and provide constructive feedback accordingly.
Expand Production
We shall venture into processing other types of seafood - both wild caught and cultured and innovate value-added products from such seafood.
Internship Program
We shall continue to build our competencies and talent pipeline through staff training and internships as well as engaging in Research and Development for innovation and enterprise.
